This multi-million dollar feature debuted at the Cannes Film Festival last spring, and has recently been purchased for worldwide distribution by Sony Pictures.
Set in a remote rural area, The Marsh tells the story of a well-known children's author who rents a house in the country, in an effort to quiet the disturbing nightmares that have been plaguing her. But these spooky dreams become the least of her worries when she finds herself at the center of a ghostly mystery, and must turn to a supernatural detective (Whitaker) for help. This spine-tingling film also stars Gabrielle Anwar and Justin Louis.
The Marsh is a follow-up to Jordan's first feature film, My Brother's Keeper, which was released theatrically and awarded Best of Festival at both the Houston International and Lexington Film Festivals.
At 30 years old, Jordan's resume boasts extensive movie experience. In 1997, he began working for Film Effects as a digital artist and animator - something that gave Jordan his first real taste of feature films.
