Hollywood star Danny Glover graces the cover of Planet Africa Magazine, as he takes pride in African heritage. The official launch of Planet Africa Magazine takes place at the Royal York Hotel on February 22nd 2007, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Corresponding with the 200th anniversary of the abolition of slavery, the evening features special award-winning poet, author, historian, curator, performer, cultural worker, and recording artist Dr. Afua Cooper. A recent winner of the Harry Jerome Award for Professional Excellence, Afua was also chosen by the editors of Essence Magazine (Oct. 2005) as one of the 25 women who are shaping the world.

The launch also presents Reginald Daniel, founder of Scientific Engineering and inspirational author. He was able to retire at the age of 44, using his own financial solutions.
